The bearing (1) has a rubber-metal component (2) with an inner cylindrical metal part (3) secured to the chassis of the automobile and a vulcanized rotationally symmetrical rubber part (4), in direct contact with the leaf spring eye (5) fitted over the rubber-metal component. The metal part projects beyond the rubber part at either end for cooperation with axial fixing rings (7a,7b), each having an annular bearing surface (6a,6b) projecting in the direction of the rubber part, with a surface structure providing planar surfaces separated by projecting support struts (9a,9b) in a transverse plane.
