A control unit calculates a total amount of liquid crystal (LC) material to be dispensed as a predetermined number of LC droplets arranged in predetermined dispensing pattern and each LC droplet containing predetermined amount of LC material. The unit compensates the total amount of LC material by compensating the predetermined number of LC droplets or the predetermined amount of LC material within the droplet. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method of dispensing liquid crystal material on plurality of liquid crystal display (LCD) panel regions formed on substrate; and (2) method of fabricating LCD panel display.
