<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control system which can control the power supply from a battery, according to the residual capacity and/or the rated capacity of the battery, in case that batteries different in capacities are connected, and an electronic apparatus which is equipped with the power control system. <P>SOLUTION: The data of the residual capacity of secondary batteries 1 and 2 computed with intelligent circuits 13 and 23 connected to the secondary batteries 1 and 2 are outputted to a microcomputer 3. The microcomputer 3 outputs the pulse waveforms PL1 and PL2, where the length of the maximum times of FETs 15 and 25 are controlled based on the magnitude of the above residual capacity, to a DC/DC power source IC4. The DC/DC power source IC4 outputs gate waveforms GT1 and GT2 to the FETs 15 and 25 so that the output voltage V may be constant, based on the pulse waveforms PL1 and PL2, whereby it can control the length of the drive times of the FETs 15 and 25, according to the magnitude of the residual capacity of the secondary batteries 1 and 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
