PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally shrinkable polyester film which prevents the blocking of goods in a drink vending machine by improving slipping on the side to be an outer surface when used as the label of a container for drink and is good in transparency and excellent in processing aptitude, and to provide a method for producing the film. SOLUTION: An easily slipping layer which contains a silicone component and in which a coated amount of a solid content is 0.002-0.5 g/m2is formed on at least one surface of a polyester film.
