PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method and a communication device, by which a receiving device can receive a correct data and a limiting distance between a transmitting device and the receiving device can be lengthened. SOLUTION: In response to reception of a transmission request signal from a reader 10, a processing circuit 31 in an IC tag 20 transmits from an antenna 25 a block including data bit information constituting data currently written in a memory circuit RAM32b for a predetermined number of times at an interval of a predetermined time. For bit information received via an antenna 15 and detected at each block from the IC tag 20 and concerning a bit position, where the data bit information is disposed, a processing circuit 11 in the reader 10 applies majority processing to a bit information of a same bit position and obtains a normal data bit information for each bit position.
