PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an international standard recording code (ISRC) without interrupting reproduction. SOLUTION: As a data reproducing device, the device is equipped with a signal processing part for outputting by separating a subcode from the other data after performing designated processing to an input signal read from the optical disk by a head, a subcode storing part for storing the subcode separated by the signal processing part, a buffer for storing the data other than the subcode separated by the signal processing part, an ISRC acquisition part for acquiring and outputting the ISRC from the subcode stored in the subcode storing part, an ISRC monitoring part for monitoring if the ISRC is acquired by the ISRC acquiring part and outputting its result, and a data output control part for outputting the data stored in the buffer when the ISRC is confirmed to have been acquired if the data is required to be outputted.
