PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method for operation and control of a gas turbine engine (10) for an aircraft. SOLUTION: This method consists of a phase to generate an operation model of the gas turbine so as to contain at least an objective function, a phase to determine operation and control constraint conditions for the operation model of the gas turbine, and a phase to prepare online dynamic optimizer/controller to dynamically optimize and control the operation of the gas turbine using the model predictive control based on the operation model to use an extended Kalman filter for prediction and the operation and control constraint conditions.
