PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug connection device capable of simplifying suspension of a contact. SOLUTION: This electric plug connection device for an input-output interface of an apparatus such as, in particular, a mobile telephone or a small computer includes an apparatus socket having contacts; the contacts each have a contact end face; the contact end faces can contact corresponding contacts of a plug connection device composed as a plug such as an apparatus plug or a cable plug; the contacts of the plug receive action of spring force for previously applying loads to the contacts in the plug-in direction, and tips or free ends thereof act on the contact end faces of the apparatus socket contacts in a direction of a contact longitudinal axial line. The plug connection device is characterized by that each contact receives specific spring stress, and is longitudinally movably supported by an insulator in the plug-in direction in the range of at least contact part thereof. In a special structure, each contact is formed as a waved or meander-like spring; and the spring is deformed into a generally accordion-like shape in receiving a compressive load.
