PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To joint a light-emitting element base plate and a driving element base plate without generating deterioration of characteristics and shortening of life. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the organic EL device comprises a process of jointing a first base plate 22 having a light-emitting part 27 and a second base plate 23 having a driving element by a conductive material 43 applied at a corresponding area T1 of the driving element 42, and a process of forming a joint part 44 jointing the light-emitting part 27 and the second base plate 23 at an area excluding the corresponding area T1 of the driving element 42.
