PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved call-processing techniques at plural bridged communication terminals including mobile terminals. SOLUTION: An apparatus for processing a call in a switch 110 of a communication system 100, comprising: a processor 115 for realizing at least one mutual adjustment function selected from a set of inter working functions 117 implemented in the switch 110; a memory 116 for storing data regarding a corresponding parameter of a destination terminal 122. Herein, the selected mutual adjustment function is operative to provide adaptability between a parameter of the call and a corresponding parameter of a destination terminal of the call, and additional data retrieved from a database 118 of the switch is inserted into a reverse portion of the call directed from the destination terminal to the source terminal by using the mutual adjustment function so that the established bandwidth between the destination terminal and the source terminal is substantially bidirectionally symmetric.
