The arrangement is coupled to an axle counting equipment (Z) using a cable (1) intended for a logic signal indicating that a railway line is free and another cable (2) intended for a logic signal indicating that the line is occupied. The arrangement evaluates the signals in an antivalent and parallel manner. The equipment is coupled to a signal box (S) operated by mechanical, electromechanical or relay sets.
