<p>When a predetermined voltage is applied between electrodes (302), metal ions are precipitated in a solid electrolyte (308) and a conduction channel (310) is formed. Then, a solid electrolyte switch (300) is turned on. Since this precipitation mechanism is reversible, when a reverse voltage is applied between the electrodes of the on-state solid electrolyte switch (300), the precipitated metal atoms migrate in the solid electrolyte and the conduction channel becomes thin. Ultimately, the channel disappears and the solid electrolyte switch (300) is brought into a non-conduction state. Use of this switch realizes an ID tag which is automatically invalidated without artificially invalidating the ID tag.</p> |
