ACOUSTIC BOUNDARY WAVE DEVICE

A small-size, high performance acoustic boundary wave device using an acoustic boundary wave. The device is realized by sharpening the filter band and fabricating a resonator and a filter that has bands with different specific bandwidths on a single substrate. In an acoustic boundary wave device (1), a solid layer (5) is formed on a single-crystal substrate (4) and an electrode is disposed at the boundary between the single-crystal substrate (4) and the solid layer (5). The device (1) comprises acoustic boundary wave elements (2, 3) constituted using a single-crystal substrate (4) with the same cut angle. The propagation direction of the acoustic boundary wave element (2) is different from that of the acoustic boundary wave element (3).
