<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine and a game system capable of performing a game in place of a dedicated operation device by embedding an electronic tag into the toy being a portable operation device thereby operating the toy, and capable of proceeding the game is advanced by obtaining individual data on the basis of the information of the electronic tag. <P>SOLUTION: The portable operation device, in which the electronic tag utilizing RFID etc. is incorporated into a portable operation device connection part, is mounted on the game machine. The ID information of the mounted portable operation device is read and sent to a game server, and game data corresponding to the ID information is sent back from the game server.
