<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless printing system capable of preventing increase of power consumption in a data transmission side terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A printer calculates a first communication time and beacon transmission timing, such that the first communication time is completed, when free capacity of a reception buffer becomes less than a prescribed first threshold in a data processor, and that the prescribed first communication time is started, when the free capacity of the reception buffer exceeds a second prescribed amount, by the use of data transmission speed between a digital camera and the printer, speed at which the printer prints data, and capacity of the reception buffer of the printer.
