<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture an isotropic magnet having excellent magnetic properties. <P>SOLUTION: A raw material obtained by blending Sm and Fe with Co or Zr or Co and Zr is melted, and, the obtained molten metal of the magnet alloy is subjected to a super quenching method to produce isotropic magnet alloy powder having a TbCu<SB>7</SB>type crystal structure. The obtained isotropic magnet alloy powder is pulverized so as to have a required particle diameter, and is thereafter subjected to heating treatment at a prescribed temperature in inert atmosphere. The isotropic magnet alloy powder is subjected to nitriding treatment while being heated at a prescribed temperature, and nitrogen atoms are introduced between the crystal lattices of the heat-treated product, and the nitrided alloy powder is molded by being filled into in a mold. Thereafter, the molded body is subjected to electric sintering under the conditions where heating is performed to a temperature of 300 to 500°C under the pre-pressurization of ≤4 t/cm<SP>2</SP>, and the pressure of ≥4 t/cm<SP>2</SP>is applied, or under the conditions where the pressure of ≥4 t/cm<SP>2</SP>is applied, and thereafter, heating is performed to a temperature of 300 to 500°C. The obtained sintered compact is subjected to magnetization, or the magnetization is performed at the time of the electric sintering, thus the isotropic magnet can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
