<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a segmented polyurethane urea intended for medical applications, which has improved processability, handleability and physical properties without sacrificing blood compatibility and safety. <P>SOLUTION: This segmented polyurethane urea having excellent processability, handleability, physical properties, blood compatibility and safety is obtained by using a charging group-containing component constituting the segmented polyurethane urea, using both an aromatic and an aliphatic diisocyanates as diisocyanates and using both an amine and a diamine as chain extenders and by controlling a chain extension reaction which decreases the water content of a raw material diol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
