<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roadside system, with which an appropriate index for making a vehicle pass through smoothly a tollgate can be provided. <P>SOLUTION: The roadside system 17 performs first timing display by a signal color "red" with a first signal 10, when a first vehicle detector 3 detects the approach of a car 2 by the time the car 2 passes the tollgate, from the time when approach of the car 2 is detected; performs second timing display by a signal color "yellow" with signals 10 and 16, when a response is made from a car 2-side to a transmitted response request; and performs third timing display by the second signal 16, when the response is made from the car 2-side when entrance information on the tollgate is transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
