<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ion exchange paper useful for a filter for removing a trace amount of chemical substances in air, with which productivity is improved by a rise in papermaking speed and ion-exchange capacity per unit area is increased. <P>SOLUTION: The ion exchange paper is obtained by using an ion exchanger having 1.8-2.4 g-H<SB>2</SB>O/g water content by a continuous papermaking method. The ion exchange paper having ≥50 g/m<SP>2</SP>weight is produced by a continuous wet papermaking method. The ion exchange paper comprising a thermally fused molding as an auxiliary raw material and having ≥ 50 wt.% blending ratio of ion exchanger is produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
