<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance regeneration efficiency and the reduction of a motor output in a four-element direct connection mode at high vehicle speed. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid driving device is provided with a three-element planetary gear P1 connected with two motors MG1, MG2; and a planetary gear P2 for speed reduction for switching the mode by the control of a clutch C-1 and a brake B-1. A clutch C-2 for connecting optional two elements of the planetary gear for speed reduction is provided to obtain the three-element direct connection mode by the direct connection of the planetary gear for speed reduction. Thereby, the motor output is reduced and energy recovery efficiency in regeneration is also enhanced as compared with a conventional four-element direct connection mode in high speed traveling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
