<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape feeder capable of preventing a nonconformity resulting from a static electricity using many kinds of carrier tapes as objects, and to provide a method for supplying an electronic part. <P>SOLUTION: The tape feeder supplies the electronic part to the place of a pickup by a shifting head. In the tape feeder, destaticizing members 42 and 43 having different thicknesses in response to the shapes and sizes of the carrier tapes are mounted in a grooved section 41 formed in a tape-feed passage, in which a plurality of kinds of the carrier tapes 10, 10A containing embossed tapes and paper tapes are sent in a freely exchangeable manner. Accordingly, the carrier tapes are brought into contact with the destaticizing members 42 and 43 at all times and electrically conducted excellently with a frame body 8a, and the nonconformity resulting from the static electricity can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
