PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deposition mask for organic EL for which much time is not required for sticking and curing or adhesion strength is not insufficient even for the deposition mask manufactured by sticking the metal mask to a gauze bonding frame, by correcting positional change of a pattern part and by transferring it to a main frame, and positional change never occurs in the pattern part even if it is frequently used in a vacuum device or after long-term storage. SOLUTION: This metal mask 12 is composed by transferring a metal mask web 16 stuck to the gauze bonding frame 21 to the main frame 11. A replaceable welding metal block 33 is mounted to a joint part to the metal mask of the main frame; and the welding metal block and the metal mask are stacked on each other and jointed by resistance welding (spot welding) 35.
