THE WASHING AND DRYING METHOD OF ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of washing and drying an article such as a lens with a large diameter formed from fluoride-based crystal material, wherein stains do not remain after washing and products do not crack by thermal shocks. SOLUTION: The method of drying comprises: the first process of washing an article with an aqueous detergent; the second step of washing with an organic solvent having 1-3C alcohol; and the third step of contacting the article with an fluorine-containing ether such as a 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl-2,2,2-trifluoroethyl ether.
