PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance machining stability and durability of a drill body in a cutting edge replaceable type drill provided with a clamping part for clamping and unclamping by relative rotation, between the drill body and a drill head having a cutting edge, and clamping the drill head by the clamping part to fix it to the drill body. SOLUTION: The drill head 3 is provided with a tapered supporting shaft 11 enlarged in diameter toward the root side from a cylinder or a projecting end fitted into an axial hole 9 provided in the drill body 2 and concentric with the rotational center. Torque receiving faces 14, 15 and thrust receiving faces 12, 13 provided corresponding to the drill body 2 and drill head 3, and the clamping part 10 generating clamping force for pressing the drill head 3 to the thrust receiving face 12 by relative rotation, are arranged on the tip side (the cutting edge side) of the drill rather than the supporting shaft 11.
