PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint mechanism for joining or separating two rod-like members to and from each other in a simple manner. SOLUTION: The mechanism for joining two rod-like members freely attachably and detachably is constituted so that a 1st rod-like member is provided with a cylindrical inserting end part having an engaging projected part on the circumferential surface, a 2nd rod-like member is provided with an engaging port receiving the inserting end part of the 1st rod-like member, a guide groove provided on the inside surface of the engaging port and for guiding the engaging projected part and a pulling means for pulling the 1st rod-like member inside the engaging port. The guide groove is provided with an introducing part extending from an inlet of the engaging port to the depth and a nearly U-shaped locking part provided successively to the introducing part and having a projecting structure on the inlet side of the engaging port.
