PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image forming device therewith, capable of realizing image forming with high image quality by enabling a pair of feeding rollers responsible for high image accuracy to nip the front end of a lengthy sheet material under a design reference state with no dislocation or posture deviation without need for complicating the configuration of the device. SOLUTION: A loop conveyance section 2 disposed between a sheet material feeding device 10 and an image forming section 3 is provided with a pair of oblique-feeding rollers 18 for applying a turning force to the sheet material 6 and abutting members 19, 20 disposed on each of the conveyance-direction upstream side and downstream side of the pair of rollers, thus enabling correction of the position and posture of the sheet material in the image forming section with the oblique-feeding rollers and the abutting member.
