PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll for an office automation equipment having a crown-shaped elastic body on an outer circumferential surface of a shaft body in which no trouble occurs in a copied image even when the distances from right and left end faces of the elastic body to the bearing position are different on the right and left sides. SOLUTION: In the roll for the office automation equipment having a shaft body 1 and a crown-shaped elastic body 2 which is coaxially formed on an outer circumferential surface of the shaft body 1, the position R of the maximum diameter of the crown-shaped elastic body 2 is set at the center of both bearing positions S<SB>1</SB>and S<SB>2</SB>and in a vicinity thereof (within±10% of the distance between the bearing positions S<SB>1</SB>and S<SB>2</SB>).
