PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the presence of a passenger inside a car and to send a notice to the outside in case of fire. SOLUTION: This elevator control device includes a passenger detecting means 7 detecting the presence or absence of a passenger based on loading weight inside a car, a fire prevention equipment operation detecting part 11 detecting the closing operation of the fire prevention equipment of every floor, an operation control part 12 driving the car to a first evacuation floor upon receipt of the closing operation signal of the fire prevention equipment at a fire-occurring floor detected by the fire prevention equipment operation detecting part 11, and to a second evacuation floor at the closing operation of the fire prevention equipment at the first evacuation floor to set down the passenger and come to a halt in case of fire, and a notice processing control part 15 sending out voice information for notifying the presence of the passenger inside the car and sending a notice from an outside notifying device when the presence of the passenger is detected based on the output by the passenger detecting means during evacuation and the halt at the first or second evacuation floor or at the closing operation of the fire prevention equipment at the first and second evacuation floors. Thus, the elevator control device notifies the presence of the passenger inside the car to a monitoring personnel or a superintendent in a landing or a monitor room, and takes action to rescue the passenger speedily.
