PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect almost the whole of an item to be cushioned and to change cushioning effect according to the degree to which the item needs to be cushioned, in a packaging cushion that can be set up by folding corrugated board. SOLUTION: Eleven plates 11 to 24 into which the corrugated board 10 is divided along cut lines 27 and half-cut lines 28 are alternately folded in two directions opposite to each other. For the part that does not need high cushioning effect in particular, the plates 21 to 24 are folded into a mountain shape. In addition, foldable flaps 50 formed on the plates 22 and 24 are folded along creases 51 and then engaged with step-shaped cuts in the plates 21 and 23, thereby forming a receiving face.
