The method involves cutting an iron strip for forming a structure (110) of an un-sharpened knife, during molding of an aluminum bolster on a plane surface of the structure of the un-sharpened knife. The molded structure is sharpened to form a sharp edge of a blade (111) of the knife. The shape of lugs of the bolster is rounded such that the lugs are connected to the blade, during the sharpening of the edge. An independent claim is also included for a device of implementing a method for manufacturing a knife. |
