<p>The lever and shaft assembly (10), especially for a windscreen wiper system, has a shaft (12) which by one end is connected to a lever (14) installed at right angles to the shaft. The shaft in a connecting section (18) between the shaft and lever is encompassed at least in areas by plastically deformed material of the lever. The lever can be positioned at an optional angle to the shaft. The lever has a bore (20) with a contour other than circular in which fits the shaft. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method for the manufacture of a lever and shaft assembly, especially for a windscreen wiper system; and (B) a windscreen wiper system with the proposed lever and shaft assembly.</p> |
