<p>A dry-type high-voltage load system device of compact structure resistant to chain disconnection, arc discharge, and vibration and a method for preventing chain disconnection/arc discharge of the device are disclosed. A dry-type high- voltage load system circuit has a low-voltage bank composed of small- capacity low-voltage resistor circuit small-capacity structure banks made up of units of a three-phase resistor circuit and a high-voltage bank composed of small-capacity high-voltage resistor circuit small-capacity structure banks of units of a three-phase resistor circuit. The low- and high-voltage banks are connected in parallel to a high-voltage generator. Three-phase resistor circuit is structured as follows. A resistor series phase is composed of resistor elements connected in series. Each resistor element has high withstand voltage insulating sleeves removably fitted on and fixed to an outer metal cylindrical tube at portions near the ends of the tube fitted through and fixed to an array plate. Such three resistor series phases are Y-connected in phase to constitute a three-phase resistor circuit in such a way that the neutral points are not interconnected and separated independently or delta-connected in such a way that the neutral points are made the connection nodes of the phases.</p> |
