Torque transmission system

The system has an activating system to activate a friction device (72) that can be changed between active and de-activated states. A friction coupling exists between primary and secondary sides of a vibration damping set-up in the torque transmission system, when the device is brought to the active state. The coupling does not exist between the sides if the device is changed to the de-activated state.
