SEALING COMPOSITION AND ITS USE

The present invention relates to the use of a sealing composition for sealing rock or soil, wherein the sealing composition is obtainable by mixing a silica sol and at least one gelling agent, wherein the silica sol has an S-value higher than about 72%. The invention also relates to a method for cutting off a liquid flow in a leaking part or cavity by inserting the sealing composition. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the sealing composition and a composition obtainable from the method.
