PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple and compact structure by enabling a tie rod to be clamped/released by pivoting of a clamp arm and to enable a pair of clamp arms to actuate synchronously by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In a tie rod clamping device 5 of a tire vulcanizing apparatus which clamps a small diameter part 31 of the tie rod 3 droopingly provided to a top plate 10 under a state wherein the small diameter part is passed through a through hole 4 formed to a bottom plate 20, a pair of two pieces of clamping arms 51, 51 for pinching/opening the small diameter part are rotatively supported to a fixing plate with supporting shafts 50, 50. Both clamping arms are in a reciprocative manner pivoted so as to cross at right angles an axial direction of the tie rod centering a supporting shaft and the tie rod is clamped by pinching the small diameter part by pivotting in the opposed direction. Besides, the small diameter part is made open by pivotting in the seceding direction and clamping of the tie rod is released. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
