[Also in Group XXXII] The upper hinge 3, Fig. 3, of the front door 1, Fig. 1, of a vehicle is disposed internally of the door whilst the lower hinge 4 is disposed externally of the door and concealed by the side portion 7 of a front bumper, which side portion is secured to the door and is separate from the front portion 6. Referring to Fig. 4, the upper hinge 3 is secured to the door 1 and door post 2 by screws 9, 11 engaging tapped holes in plates 10c 10b, secured respectively, to the door and post. The lower hinge is connected to the door and post in a similar manner.
