The first invention relates to an olefinic naphtha comprising

• 10-80 wt % olefins;
• 20-90 wt % non-olefins comprising at least 50 wt % paraffins;

• a total acid number < 1.5

Further inventions relate to a blended naphtha comprising an olefinic naphtha and a hydrotreated Fischer-Tropsch or petroleum naphtha; a process for producing lower olefins by Fischer-Tropsch conversion of syngas and conversion of the product in a naphtha cracker; a similar process for producing ethylene; and a process for manufacturing ethylene at a second site, remote from a first, in which an olefinic naphtha is formed at a first site and the conversion is carried out at the second.
