<p>The shower installation (10) has a heat exchanger for pre-heating cold tap water with hot shower water collected and discharged from the shower unit. The installation has a fitting (19) which is fed with cold water from a cold water conduit (16) and with hot water from a hot water source (18). The shower installation is in heat exchange contact with a longitudinal section of the cold water conduit and incorporates at least two vertically separated plates (11,12,13) arranged horizontally over each other. The uppermost plate conducts shower water to the edge area to the next plate beneath it. The longitudinal section of the cold water conduit remains in contact with the shower installation plates.</p> |
