The present invention relates to a moisture control device for a food garbage disposer, which includes a treatment tank prepared for decomposing and disposing of food garbage by a microorganism, a main body for accommodating the treatment tank therein, and a lid for opening and closing the main body. The moisture control device comprises a moisture sensor which includes a center electrode and a peripheral electrode surrounding the center electrode and measures a moisture content in the treatment tank when brought into contact with the food garbage in the treatment tank, and a moisture control unit for lowering the moisture content in the treatment tank by forcibly circulating air in the treatment tank when the moisture content measured by the moisture sensor is greater than a predetermined reference range of the moisture content. According to the present invention, accurate and reliable measurement of the moisture content in the treatment tank can be made, and effective moisture control within the treatment tank can be made. |
