The thermal relay is mounted in a pocket in one part or half of the contactor casing (8). The relay and the part of the casing in which it is mounted form a replaceable unit. The bimetallic parts of the relay form a fixed connection with the fixed contact parts (5, 6) in the contactor and these parts are included in the replaceable unit. The relay is used to control the contactor.
