Production of multilayer strip-shaped molded part, comprises manufacturing a groove-shaped recess (20) in a smooth side forming an inner surface (15) of a cover layer (2) of the molded part by material ablation method as grinding, milling, rubbing and eroding. The inner surface is faced to a support element (3) and an outer surface of the cover layer is faced away from the support element. A base body (4) is arranged between the cover layer and the support element, and is area wise connected with the cover layer and/or the support element. Production of multilayer strip-shaped molded part, comprises manufacturing a groove-shaped recess (20) in a smooth side forming an inner surface (15) of a cover layer (2) of the molded part by material ablation method as grinding, milling, rubbing and eroding. The inner surface is faced to a support element (3) and an outer surface of the cover layer is faced away from the support element. A base body (4) is arranged between the cover layer and the support element, and is area wise connected with the cover layer and/or the support element. The cover layer is connected with the base body and/or the support element in predefinable connection areas. The cover layer is kinked and/or folded in a direction transverse to the longitudinal stretching of the recess in such a way that areas of the outer surfaces are laid upon one on other. Two lateral surfaces parallel to the longitudinal stretching, are produced in the inner surface within the area of a bow, and are bent with one another. The lateral surfaces and/or partial surfaces of the inner surface support themselves each other at longitudinal edge of the support element. The cover layer has surface texture, surface stability, and tenacity exhibiting layers. The partial surfaces of the cover layer are connected with one another by seam welding. The cover layer is formed by leather or imitation leather. The depth of the recess is smaller or same of a thickness of the smooth side. The cover layer has an outer layer forming surface layer, and the recess is extended maximally up to the smooth side. The cover layer and the base body are connected with the inner surface and/or the lateral surface. A viscous material forming the base body is supplied into a free space formed between the cover layer and the support element for automatic curing of the base body with predetermined curing time. Curing additives are added for reducing the curing time.
