PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage stabilizer for a resonance inverter that can perform constant power control to maintain the efficiency of the stabilizer at 97% or higher, by minimizing the loss of a switching element using null voltage switching, and by detecting an output voltage and a current of a lamp to return and then controlling an output frequency. SOLUTION: An output controller 40 contains a frequency-variable integrated circuit, controls an output frequency for driving a lamp, variably controls an output frequency at the time of the initial starting of the lamp and an output frequency after lighting the lamp, and then protects the circuit and the lamp by cutting off an output at the time of the failure of lamp-lighting, an overcurrent in the circuit and an overvoltage therein. The high voltage stabilizer further comprises a protector 90 that is coupled to the output controller 40 so as to cut off the output at the time of the overcurrent in the circuit or the failure of the lamp-lighting, by detecting an output current flowing to an inverter 50 and a current flowing to the lamp; and a return portion that is coupled so that the output controller 40 performs proper output control by detecting a voltage applied to an igniter 50 and the output current flowing to the lamp to return to the output controller 40.
