FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of forming inner wall of steady bearing with preset height H designed for creating guide action onto some cylindrical member through interaction with its inner wall. Proposed method includes stages of evaluation of maximum deflection value taken on said cylindrical member between center and one of ends of steady bearing, evaluation of nominal radius R from equation R=H2/8f, determination of inner wall of steady bearing in form of toroidal surface S containing neck whose diameter is equal to diameter of used cylindrical member with accuracy to clearance J of profound value and having meridional radius whose value lies within ±15% relative to nominal value of radius R and machining of steady bearing carried out to render inner wall of said steady bearing the form pf toroidal surface S by method described above. ^ EFFECT: possibility of action of considerable mechanical loads on cylindrical member. ^ 4 cl, 4 dwg |
