FIELD: remote continuous measurements of ice, wind, and ice-wind loads on phase conductors of overhead power transmission lines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device has two remote-transmission channels, double-input comparator, adjustable bias regulator, functional converter, adder, relative wind direction indicator, ice, wind, and ice-wind measuring instruments, and two force-measuring transducers suspended between lower cross-arm of tangent-suspension pole and insulator strings with phase conductors. ^ EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, simplified design and operating algorithm, enhanced measurement accuracy. ^ 4 cl, 5 dwg |
