The assembly has an electrochemical generator (2) and a set of exhaust gas processing devices. A heat exchanger (14) and a condenser (15) are arranged, such that exhaust gas passes through a hot section of the heat exchanger, the condenser, and a cool section of the heat exchanger. A turbine (17) is equipped with a turbine stage (18) that is traversed by exhaust gas from the cool section of the heat exchanger. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a motor vehicle comprising a driving system equipped with an electrochemical generator assembly; and (B) a process for treating exhaust gas in an electrochemical generator assembly.
