The multiplier has dividing and selection units (10, 12) for generating an output signal equal to multiplication of an electrical signal (S) with periodic electric signal whose third harmonic in Fourier decomposition is null. The dividing unit has a transformer (11) allowing to collect positive and negative electrical signals at one of its ends. The multiplier modulates the electrical signal which operates in two different frequencies. An independent claim is also included for a process of digital multiplication of an electrical signal.
