The door has metallic front and rear walls (19, 20) forming a case, and panels (21-25, 26a, 26b, 27a, 27b) housed in the case. The panels are affixed with each other and to the walls using an incombustible paste. Non-flammable and intumescent joints (12) are fixed to upright rods and a crosspiece (7) of a frame (2) that is fixed to a structure (3), to provide fire integrity between the periphery of the door and the frame.
