The device has a fixation system with elastic units (4) placed between sole of a shoe (2) and a fixation zone (11) of a sail (1). The units allow transversal rotational movement of the sole with respect to the zone, oscillations of the sole around orthogonal axis of the sail and movements of sole along its longitudinal axis parallel to longitudinal axis of the sail, during ascending and descending propulsions.
