The device has a sheath tube (11) equipped with a lug connector (12), an inlet opening (13) for arranging an ice screw (21). A retaining part (15) is arranged in bistable bolt to block or unblock the ice screw inside the sheath tube in a locking position or unlocking position, respectively. The retaining part cooperates with a notch (16) provided in a lateral surface of the sheath tube in the locking position.
