PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping device equipped with a pressing member of an applicator and an anvil moving back and forth independently, bearing the load impressed when crimping a terminal on the terminal part of a wire, capable of keeping the positional relation between the pressing member and the anvil in an optimum state, when crimping the terminal. SOLUTION: The terminal crimping device is provided with a first movement mechanism 14, having a locking means 20 preventing backward movement of an upside unit 12, when the upside unit 12 having the pressing part 38 is moved back and forth and the wire L to which the terminal is to be crimped is moved forward; a lower side unit 13 having the anvil 39 arranged at lower side of the pressing member 38 interposing the terminal; and a second movement mechanism 15 making the terminal move back and forth, in a direction in which the wire L to be crimped is arranged.
